Kurbads team takes part in the Great Cleanup at Lantes Manor
On April 25, the vehicle transportation and logistics company Kurbads team, together with their families, took part in Lielā Talka 2026 — a nationwide environmental clean-up initiative across Latvia — this time gathering at the picturesque Lantes muiža.
From early morning, the manor grounds were filled with activity and a positive atmosphere, as people of different generations joined forces for a common goal: to care for the environment, preserve cultural heritage, and contribute to a cleaner future. For the Kurbads team, this initiative has become an important tradition, strengthening both team spirit and the company’s commitment to social responsibility.
This year’s clean-up work was carried out with particular energy and focus. Participants collected litter along the banks of the Lielā Jugla River, cleared the manor’s walking trails, maintained the young forest area, and actively engaged in tree planting. Special attention was given to improving the surroundings of the “Olimpietis” oak at Lantes muiža — a place that symbolizes both the strength of nature and the identity of the location.
In Latvia, taking part in clean-up initiatives is not just a one-day activity — it is a mindset and a way of life. It reflects society’s willingness to collaborate, care for the environment, and pass these values on to future generations. The Kurbads team’s involvement in such initiatives demonstrates the company’s commitment not only to delivering high-quality logistics services, but also to actively contributing to the development of society and the environment.
After a job well done, participants enjoyed well-deserved rest, accompanied by a warm and uplifting musical performance by Līga Broduža and the folklore group Brička folklore group. Kurbads extends its gratitude to all participants for their dedication, energy, and attitude — helping to build a cleaner, more sustainable Latvia.
