Kurbads Team Participates in the Enefit EV Rally 2025

The Marketing and Accounting departments’ joint team of the logistics and car transportation company Kurbads took part in the Enefit EV Rally 2025 on September 20, driving a Volkswagen ID.3 electric vehicle. Participation in the event strengthened team collaboration and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to electric vehicles as a sustainable and efficient mode of transport.
The Enefit EV Rally has become an important tradition in Latvia’s sustainable mobility sector. Last year, 48 crews with around 200 participants joined the event, proving that electric cars can serve not only as everyday transportation but also as an engaging adventure for families, groups of friends, and company teams.
This year, 50 crews participated, representing a diverse range of participants – families with children, groups of friends, and corporate teams. The route followed lesser-known roads and highlighted unique locations in Riga, Pierīga, Saulkrasti, Skulte, Zvejniekciems, Ragana, Bīriņi, Vidriži, and beyond.
The event’s concept involved completing creative and strategic tasks, each with a specific points system, while safety was ensured through GPS tracking and adherence to traffic regulations.
Participation in the Enefit EV Rally is important for the company as it provides practical experience in using electric vehicles, strengthens team collaboration, and promotes public awareness of sustainable mobility solutions in Latvia. With more than 30 years of experience, Kurbads has been providing professional car transportation services across Europe and consistently follows industry developments, including trends in sustainable mobility.
We thank the rally organizers for hosting a high-level event and for the opportunity to be part of an initiative that promotes the popularity of electric vehicles and fosters the development of a sustainable mobility culture in Latvia.
