The visual identity of Autotransporter No.126 was created by artist Alfreds Paulausks. The inauguration ceremony was led by folklorist Inese Krūmiņa, creating a calm and symbol-rich atmosphere that united all those present. The event was attended by Kurbads employees and friends, representatives of the Latvian Scout and Guide Central Organization led by Jēkabs Vanags, members of General Goppers’ family, and our cooperation partners from Volvo Trucks Baltic and Inchcape Ford.
The new autotransporter has been entrusted to Jānis Siliņš - an experienced Kurbads driver from the Tukums region. With more than 700,000 kilometers covered on European roads, his professionalism speaks for itself.
Technically, Autotransporter No.126 is a modern Volvo FH 62T equipped with Kässbohrer transport technology. Beneath the cabin operates a 12.8-liter Turbo Compound diesel engine delivering 500 horsepower, ensuring optimal power, efficiency, and reliability for long-distance routes. It is a machine ready to carry its story steadily across Europe’s roads.
With pride, we continue to carry Latvia’s stories to the world.
